Wot you looking at?

Took the ferry over to Rothesay and cycled round the island of Bute. It was a bit cloudy but dry. We went south when we came off the ferry and took the road through the Mount Stewart estate to avoid the main road. Stopped for lunch at an inn.

Cycled up to a view point and there was a man there with a Spotted Asian Eagle Owl which he had on a rope. Took the Bogmeister's photo with the owl. Continued round the island and back to the ferry.

At the harbour on the way out we saw a flock of eiders. Later we saw a flock of greylag geese and as we were heading back to the ferry saw more and more greylags coming in to land at what I presume will be their overnight roost. On the shore line there were lots of oyster catchers and Dave saw a seal.
