Fidra

Fidra is one of the many islands in the Firth of Forth and is just off the coast north of Yellowcraig, to the west of North Berwick where I was staying for a couple of days. We had taken the bus to Gullane and were walking back to North Berwick. We hadn't set out very early and we reached this point of the walk in the late afternoon. Fidra is a bird reserve as are many of the islands and the seabirds have just started to return to land to breed.
