Pollen

Spring is definitely sprung this weekend; I have been gardening like a crazed thing, making up for months of pretending the wilderness wasn't there. More and more blossom appearing, daffodils brightening up the garden. Dog walking this morning I came upon this spectacular tree, which I confess I cannot identify. It looked like giant pussy willow on steroids, but was covered in yellow pollen. There is a bee, bit out of focus, in the bottom left of the photo, who was having a great meal.
