I was just sitting in the back garden when I noticed this "black stuff" on the lawn. On closer investigation (he who knows everything) pronounced it to be toads spawn. Either it's that or someone has thrown away a large amount of caviar! Can anybody out there tell me why toads have left this on the lawn,is this normal? We don't have a pond and haven't seen any toads. This goes to show that nature is in your back garden not miles away at a nature reserve.
