Time to wake up!

It's that time of year again :)

It was 11 degrees in my garage this morning and 17 in the garden so thought it time I woke him up from his long long sleep.

It's always a bit nerve-wracking as hibernation is a bit of a worrying business. However, within 15 minutes of this blip he was racing around outside and thankfully drinking some water. (It's important that tortoises do this soon after they wake up even if they don't eat for quite some time). I'll be bringing him inside at night though for several more months.
