Nesssaintee's World

By nesssaintee

A Restless Native

Alone among the hills and stone
Through summer sun and winter snow
The eagle he was lord above
And Rob was lord below

Two hundred and forty years
We lived without hope and without pride
So who will know where they come from
Who raised a torch for those who died

I will be with them
In the summer sun
And the winter snow
They will come and clouds will go
And show that they are proud again

Though all we lost in autumn days
Cannot be born again
Stand here by me
Until the ways of age and youth
Are one and same

Restless Natives - Big Country

I have blipped these words before, I love this song.
I was listening to this on my walk today, stirring :-)
Today was a day of reflection, my walk took me to the A9 and the Kessock Bridge
And this is the view from there looking down the Beauly Firth, the death star is down there somewhere and the hogwarts express travels along the south bank
It is really beautiful on a sunny day.
It was really quite windy out there, overcast too, but it does have a strange beauty to it
Hope you've all had a fantastic weekend
