G is for .... Gorse, of course!

Only just realised that this could be an AlphaPonty Challenge blip!! An absolutely glorious day today, warm and sunny. After church, decided to head to the common and eat a sandwich. The Gorse is just beginning to bloom and the smell of coconut filled the air.

Lots of insect activity - bees, butterflies and, as you can see, ladybirds. Birds everywhere with the Rooks busy nest building i.e. flying about with twigs. A pair of Green Woodpeckers was a highlight.

Could have been G is for Golf as the Common is also a golf course, which can make for an interesting walk!
