The Ramones Museum/Cafe Mania in Berlin Mitte, a must-see stop-and-shop for fans of Johnny, Joey, Dee-Dee, Tommy and the rest. When we visited there was a band playing an acoustic set in the museum - they sounded so bad I never found out their name. Apparently they had been touring and releasing records for some time with the amps turned up, but acoustic they didn't sound like a band who'd been together more than a week. Still, I don't imagine the Ramones would have sounded that great doing an acoustic set. Speaking of the Ramones, here's a sad reminder that Tommy is the only original member still alive.
