Endangered species

Since the introduction of the 5p charge on plastic bags in Wales there has been a marked reduction in sightings of these once common creatures. They were frequently seen, perched in trees or nesting under bushes and distinguished by their blue and white striped plumage and their 'rustle, rustle' call.

The sudden reduction in the population of these creatures has led the RSPPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Plastic Bags) to go as far as to consider them endangered in the wild.

It has to be said that other people consider them a pest especially as even when they have expired their corpses litter the environment and never seem to decompose.

If you do happen across one of these creatures, it helps to find a new home for it. I came across this poorly specimen on the way to work and popped it in a nearby bin for it. Every little helps.
