Bang Bang, Bada Bing, Boom Boom....

It all started when Bonefish Grill introduced their signature dish called Bang Bang Shrimp. It was very good quality breaded shrimp with a very hot spicy sauce with a mystery ingredient that took us ages to figure out.

Since then it has been *the* dish to try and copy for pro chefs and amateurs alike.

Mangia e Bevi do a good version, Bada Bing Shrimp, sans breading but with a very good spicy sauce. Morgans American Grill, meh, still a work in progress. It would help if the breading stuck more to the shrimp than the plate...

This is the Jackson version. Shrimp dipped in egg beaters (fake egg), then rolled in panko breadcrumbs, and fried in butter. The special sauce is Toms baby, and the secret ingredient begins with "W" and will blow the top of your head off if you aren't careful!
