Fire Trucks

Plenty of activity for Boston area Firefighters.

Tonight Part of Boston is without power due to a fire from a transformer, a massive 115,000 volt transformer caught on fire. They had to shut the power to parts of the city. Very eerie to see the skyline completely dark in Boston. One of the skyscraper was so dark only the flashing red lights for planes were visible.

The news reported the following: Back Bay, Chinatown, Theater Dist, and Kenmore Sq have no power. 6 MBTA train stations have been affected and trains are not stopping at those locations.

Earlier I was in Somerville and was near a small fire but still large enough to have 5 fire trucks respond. I took this picture earlier and since access to Boston was limited, I didn't take a trip across the Charles river for pictures.

Here is video from the fire in Boston:

At least the temperature today weren't that bad, I think we made it to the 60's. Wednesday will be equally as beautiful.
