Spring Greens

Was down in my favourite wood today-Ellens Glen. I enjoyed the freshness of the the Hawthorn leaves and the Ransoms-what a brilliant green they both are. The leaves of both these plants are edible and would make a lovely salad together. We encourage children to try foraged plants as part of their nature play sessions. Back at nursery the children make a lovely bread with the Ransom leaves in the dough.
