in the Dog House

Phoebe the Cat is in a lot of trouble this week and I don't mean from her regular habit of drinking from toilets.

What happened was, We went to See Phantom of the Opera in Plymouth and spent the night in a hotel. Our neighbour Charlotte agreed to feed the cats and inject our other diabetic cat Bertie. Unfortunately Phoebe chose this day to go for a swim in the slurry pit in the farmyard and was covered in what I will politely call cow s$%t down all her legs and belly. She then came in the house and sat on every carpet, chair and bed spreading the substance everywhere.

Poor Charlotte spend about 2 hours cleaning the cat who by this time was caked in dried on cow s$%t. We also spend most of the next day steam cleaning carpets.

Given all this its amazing that she is looking fairly normal already, if a little green in parts. I with the same could be said for our carpets !.

Today Phoebe bought Charlotte and nice bottle of booze and a bunch of flowers to say sorry.
