Postal Office

Today I went to the postal office in order to get a package from Hong Kong, it was a circular polarizing filter for my camera that I bought through internet on dealextrem as amazon is not sending orders to Argentina.

I hate and also I'm afraid how economy on Argentina goes, everyday are more restrictions:
- You have to show how you earned the money in order to buy dollars.
- Importing products is highly restricted, people has right to import as much as 25 dollars per year, if you import more than that you have to pay a 50% tax.
For companies, government decides what and how much they can import, usually they just don't allow to import anything, in this way they expect to increase local manufacturing, but local industries are not prepared for that amount of production or simply they doesn't have enough quality and sometimes people prefer to not buy at all.
- Inflation index is controlled by the government and usually is half of the real index, in this way they show that the economy goes fine.
- Government expend money in programs that doesn't have a real benefit but that makes illiterate people happy:
* Soccer for everybody: they pay millions for transmitting all soccer games on public tv)
* Universal assignation per child: they give money to mother for each child they have, is not to much, but usually for poor mothers is a business having more children in order to get a fix amount of money every month without needing to get a job.

There are other things I hate/scare but I don't remember at this moment, also, this post became too long.
