Oblong Media Collective

I spent the day making plans for the Oblong Media Collective at the Woodhouse Community Centre on Leeds. We have a series of projects and events.

Next Wednesday we will be taking some volunteers to make a film for Healthy Living in Armley who are hoping to turn an empty shop on Town Street into a walk-in creative activity centre. The short film will help them in their funding application. It looks as though the use of video to support funding applications is becoming more common.

Then in the following weeks we have a lunchtime photo appreciation discussion and a Face the Camera workshop introducing people to personal presentation and interviewing skills.

End of the day spent having fish and chips at Open Door (Oasis Cafe) Ilkley.
