A good lay!

This is my first 'entry' ...ahem (ref title!) Regaining control over and restoring the original line of this greatly overgrown privet hedge has been this winter's project. What made things worse was its (physical) association with an old chicken wire fence, running the whole length - about 90 feet. Judging by my efforts elsewhere in the garden, the shock of such treatment will result in rapid growth at the hedge base.
