Last Day

Last day :( Flying home tonight - late - night flight JKF to LHR.

Still, we saved one of the best things to visit for the last day - the Rockefeller Centre. Amazing decor, history and surroundings (and shopping for Mrs A!). Handed over our bucks, and stepped into the lift express elevator. It was like Star Trek, you can see how fast you rise (the roof is see through and the lift elevator shaft lights up), and a few moments at the top.

Wow. What a view! The Empire State Building looks small. Central Park quite close. 500 photos later and back in the lift elevator go back down. Ben and Jerrys special ice cream for lunch, 700 calories! And that's it, until perhaps another time. Time to pack, grab a taxi and get to the airport...
