Enter At Your Own Risk
A gate without a fence, I quite like that. I had something similar at Glastonbury way back in 1985. It was a muddy year and the idea was that people would assume that there was a fence to go with the gate and the area around the tent would stay reasonably dry. It worked.
Another splendid day here. 20 C outside and very pleasant it is too. Been for a bit of a walk, tried to take pictures of ducks landing on water, got fed up with that quite quickly (all I got were a lot of ducks after they had landed on water). And then, in a quick nod to mortality, I bought my first pair of reading glasses.
For about a year, I've been doing that holding things at arm's length and squinting in that very odd way that people do. Enough is enough, I decided and I am now the owner of a very nice pair of specs. No doubt I'll blip them at some point but not with me wearing them.
Yesterday's song wrestled into German was Bohemian Rhapsody. Let's see what you make of today's song :-
Liebling du musst mich wissen lassen
Sollte ich bleiben oder sollte ich gehen?
Wenn du sagst dass du mein bist
bin ich hier bis ans Ende der Zeit
Also musst du mich wissen lassen
Sollte ich bleiben oder sollte ich gehen?
I'm quite happy with that.
