Singled out?

Not much meaning behind todays. Just trying to get it figured out. Went to my grandparents today. Saw my great grandfather, it really hurts to see him like he is. He's been trough so much. Christmas day he told me the story on how my family came here. Traveled by wagon from Oklahoma. I wish I had even half the knowledge he does. That would be incredible.
