Parking permits in the rain

These are Edinburgh visitor parking permits. We used up quite a few for my parents' car while they came to stay this week. Unfortunately an over-zealous parking attendant still managed to slam a ticket on the vehicle, an act that rather distressed my frail father. This photograph is part of the evidence that we need to get the fine rescinded. Note the lovely Scottish rain, specially organised for the tourists.
