Primed...

My daughter's old bike is getting a makeover to make it acceptable to be re-cycled (*ahem) for my 5 year old son.

Pink -> Black with red flames

Having never painted anything in this way before it is a bit of a challenge. Stenciling the red flames will be a particular challenge but that's not for a couple of days yet.

The list.
Deconstruct bike - Check
sand and rub down with acetone - Check
Prime several times - Check
Leave for 24 hours -
Sand and Paint -
Paint again -
Decals & Lacquer -
Reconstruct components -

Not sure 5 year old knows that he won't be riding it for a while!
