What is this?

Spotted this plant in the garden centre as I walked through to have lunch at the Potting Shed

Would you believe someone had removed the label from the plant pot and so my ignorance is still complete.

Could it be an orchid perhaps - I just liked the colour and shape of the plant - especially the orange middle bit.
