For the family

By RonaMac

A lady with two names!!

This is the Sally B with the "Memphis Belle" marking from the David Putnam film in 1989. (Extra details in Blipfolio)

We spent the day at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford with our visitor. No matter how many times we visit there is always something new to see and enjoy.
Duxford

Aeroplanes have featured throughout my life, my father worked for the air ministry and my husband was in the RAF when we married. Our first home was at the end of the runway with Vulcan bombers shaking the walls on take-off !!

B was in his element seeing aircraft that he had worked over the years and telling stories related them, including the one about the python that got in to the nose wheel housing of a lightning in Singapore!!!

A great day out was enjoyed by all for different reasons. Many interesting memories!!
