Family dinner.

The wonderful family who've taken me in for every holiday, cookout and celebration decided to throw me a little going away dinner today. The dad of the family is a cool so the food is always amazing. We had a Paddy's day dinner of homemade corned beef and cabbage, along with roasted carrots, parsnips and potatoes, steamed spinach with bacon, multiple types of mustard and gravies and home made bread. This is the key lime pie made by a wonderful grandma. I think the fact it was made by a grandmother made it even more delicious. :)

Wonderful end to a great weekend. A little emotional saying bye to my wee American family but still great. Makes me feel super lucky to have met them all.
