Chicken or the Egg

While at the market today, I thought about the age old question of which came first the chicken or the egg. I actually shot the chickens first, but I don't think that provides a definitive answer to the question, merely an answer to what we first saw on our trip through the mercado. I am also certain these chickens will not be producing any more eggs, nor will the eggs turn into chickens. I guess the real answer to the question depends on whether one is looking for breakfast or dinner - egg or chicken.
