old friends

Missed a day. Sad day yesterday at Jenny's funeral, but time spent with old friends catching up and sharing memories. Made for a late night though and tiredness and dehydration weren't the best ingredients for attempting my first 5k park run this morning with my new friend and running partner. Every second was agony but we made it round, hopefully in a not-too-disappointing time but the verdict has not been returned yet. No time to recover though, off to a 6th birthday party as the antenatal class party season continues. This pic is of Ella with her good friend Niall, who she has known since she was born nearly 6 years ago. Onwards and on to a wedding dance and a happier evening with friends - work friends this time. A blessing indeed to be able to call them friends as well as colleagues. The bride and groom were radiant and the setting glorious. (and having since seen their photos, the photographer both accomplished and inspiring).
