To Edinburgh Playhouse with EdiSteve, and Spamalot. We've seen this Monty Python musical previously and loved it, but this time it was better still. Never mind such icons as Arthur, Lancelot and Guinevere, this retelling of the legend of the Knights Who Say Ni boasts Tucker, Tarrant and Violet Elizabeth Bott!

Yes, Todd Carty of Grange Hill, Steven Pacey of Blake's 7 and Bonnie Langford of Just William star, and shine. Todd was in it last time and was superb again, while Bonnie is a legend - why isn't she being made a Dame in a joint ceremony with EP? - but who knew Steven P has a beautiful voice and comic chops. The whole cast and band were great, truth be told - if you can get to Edinburgh Playhouse, this runs until Saturday. Miss it not, or give up your shrubbery.
