First magnolia pic of the year

The ladybirds were out in force today - climbing the bamboo, clustering and doing what comes naturally.

But the magnolia is responding to the warm sunshine and reminding me that she was the reason I bought this house three years ago.

It would also have been my wonderful father's birthday. He would have been 95. So Happy Birthday Dad. xxxxx
