In memoriam

In memory of unknown council workers who laid the stone slabs that make the pavements around the city centre. They've passed into history now but the stones that they laid will be with us for some time to come.

We live in the present moment, but we're also living in someone else's history. Hopefully they'll find what we leave behind to be something they can use or appreciate.

I'm always struck by the passage of time when I look at the last dozen photographs on Blipfoto. Was it really that long ago that we has scones? Time flies.
