Valley Of Rocks Lynton. I only had 5 minutes.

Lynton and Lynmouth offer a unique holiday experience for all, situated on the North Coast of Devon noted for its high sea cliffs, within the Exmoor National Park noted for its breath taking natural beauty and unspoilt landscape. This is a perfect place to access the inner moor, visit historic houses, inspiring gardens, catch glimpses of the majestic red deer and the wild Exmoor ponies.

Take a walk from Lynton along North Walk to the Valley of Rocks, home to Lynton's famous herd of wild goats and admire the dramatic rock formations in the valley. A unique water powered Victorian Cliff Railway offers an additional form of transport between Lynton and Lynmouth giving views over Lynmouth bay and towards the South Wales coast.
Lynmouth harbour once famous for herring fishing now offers scenic boat trips along the Exmoor Coast and mackerel fishing in the bay. Lynmouth bay offers challenging surfing and as one surfer said "When it's on Lynmouth is a class wave, not for the faint hearted though...". Not to be missed is the walk from Lynmouth following the East Lyn river to Watersmeet here you will be rewarded with waterfalls and a cream tea at Watersmeet House (open March - November) . Lynton and Lynmouth are situated on the South West Coast Path and many other long distance paths start (or finish) in the area making this a walker's paradise.

I must return when not working....
