What the...???

I'm not sure what this is, but it is on the central reservation across from the Dorchester. I quite like it, though I'm not sure whether it's meant to be a representation of the Olympic torch, but it seems to be made out of multicoloured snakes.

Mind you, after two days working like a mad thing my eyes were not at their best! But I do love it!
