Sunset Song

Sunset Song by Lewis Grassic Gibbon is described in Wikipedia as being one of the most important Scottish novels of the 20th century but which is one of those books used to torture children at school. It is possible that if I read it now I would enjoy it/want to kill myself less quickly. Maybe.
