Old Fort Arch

First blip for a few days. The inscription on the plaque reads;
"This arch was errected in 1690 over the main entrance to the Fort and reerected here in 1896, where Sir Allan Cameron of Erracht, in 1793, raised the 79th or Cameron Highlanders. A regiment which distinguished itself on many hard fought field for King and Country"
It now stands at the entrance to the Craigs Burial Ground on Belford Rd. Fort William.
