On Top Of The World

As the Shard nears completion, these workers are fitting the last few glass panels at the top.

I'd love to get up there to see the view.

Just spotted this in the London Evening Standard

"The workers are 985 feet above ground level... putting the finishing touches to the Shard's spire.
Sections of steel, prepared and cut off-site and weighing up to seven tonnes each are being lifted to the top of the glass-covered building using cranes, where the workmen bolt the individual pieces together.
Once the spire is completed - which, weather-dependent, is scheduled to take place next week - about 500 tonnes of steel will have been used to build the spire over London Bridge station in 100 separate lifts."
