dog-walking at dusk in a local 'pocket park' - a triangular open space where the tall woodland species (pine, beech and lime) planted in the early 1900s provide structure, while the more recent ornamental species provide detail.

sadly the older trees are dying off and we're going to lose that tall backdrop to the smaller and shorter-lived species, such as cherries and rowans, preferred by municipal authorities.

need to do something about this.
