Breakers

Up in Aberdeen this weekend - Neil is working up here, so we thought it would make a change to me to travel to him this weekend ... a walk in the sunshine along the promenade with ice cream (despite the icy blast from the North Sea and a temperature in single figures). The tide was nearly in, made the breakers look stunning with the waves breaking over them. We nearly took a picture of a group of beginners learning to surf, who were doing a hilarious warm up routine on the beach, before putting a toe in the breaking surf and refusing to go any further - I mean, don't they know it's March?!

Anyway, hoping for some more photo opportunities over the weekend, but this is our provisional entry for the WBC on the theme " black and white".
