Numbers up

Today was the last swim meet for the Open Water Swimmers.

They met at Cottesloe at 0800hrs and headed off in 3 different groups.
Different colour caps for a different distance to be swam.

This group (the pink caps) were lining up to swim 3.5 km along the Cottesloe coastline. They would enter over a computerised mat which would automatically read the electonic tag on their ankle.

The numbers on their arms was Manual Back Up in case of computer failure !!

Once again I watched, had my quick dip and then tea, toast and vegemite with my regular weekday swimmers.
