Being realistic.....

.....it's always going to be an emergency blip day today so I'm going with the flow. Doing some planting-out-in-the-garden and it's all at that 'looking bad before it looks better' stage, soil and compost everywhere (and a lot of it adorning/caking my person!).

I'm strangely attracted to the idea of Spam Fritters and chips for tea.....but maybe I'll roll the boat out and have salmon paste on toast for starters and pineapple chunks for pud....but only if I can find a tin of evaporated milk somewhere at the back.......
