Mother's Day Iris

Mundane stuff today so far today.

Yes I know, it's lovely outside, but, I'd thought I'd do this lovely flower before its starts to wilt.

Just one of the remaining flowers the boys bought Gail for last Sunday. I've been looking at it all week but today is the first day I've really seen it fully open in daylight.

For the technical (and especially John G - I did learn something!) This was taken with natural light using my Canon5D, 100mm Macro, tripod, mirror-lockup enabled, remote release. Its a total of 6 images merged using focus stacking in PS CS5 then a tweak on levels and saturation.

Now off to do some images around the garden then prep a talk for Tuesday night's club meeting.
