Filament, Stamen, Style, Stigma, Tepal, Lily

These flowers have taken the best part of a week to open, but now they smell absolutely divine. I'd love to shove them under a scanning electron microscope, but I had to let that go on Ebay the other week, so here is a bit of a close-up;)

That stigma must be so sticky as I can see little strands or fibres which have been caught by it, as well as a little pollen. EDIT: It's not obvious however, now that the raw has been converted to jpg and then further converted by the big blip computer in the sky.
