Through a narrow alleyway

Lovely sunny day, we decided to walk along the Water of Leith Path. Started off down at Leith harbour. Unfortunately they are doing flood defences along quite a long stretch of the path, but will go back when the work is finished.

We walked along as much as we could and came off the path near Stockbridge. We went to see the Edinburgh Photographic Society Member's Exhibition. Lots of fabulous images to see. Then went for a coffee and cake in a very small cafe and bakery, which had delicious cakes. It was near the Stockbridge Sunday market so went for a wander round there.

Back on the Water of Leith Path we saw 2 grey wagtail. Then walked along to Dean Village. Walking back towards Princes Street saw this view from a narrow alleyway.

Driving home the mist was starting to come down along the Bye Pass, the sun was an reddish colour and bathed the Pentlands in a warm glow.
