Bubble and eek

Another sleepless night due to D teething but it didn't hit home quite as hard this time as we had SUNSHINE!  Yes, glorious warm sunshine and an entire day spent in the garden enjoying it.  Everything is better when the sun's out - even the creepy crawlies in the garden seemed to be smiling as I disturbed their homes.

Hubby (R) was doing manly things - tidying out his beloved shed, mending and painting.  Little A loves helping her daddy and he's great at letting her try most things.  I did, however, have to double take when I walked to the bottom of the garden and saw her with a large white tub of emulsion and not one, but two paint brushes, making light work of our garden bench.  The bench was covered, as was the ground, as was she.  The photo I took just didn't do the scene justice, unfortunately.

Bathtime was a must tonight and D was happy splashing about before his sis got into the tub.  We have a bubble machine and it was cascading all over D when I took this, he was just the picture of loveliness.  When A got in, we did the usual shopping game where she asks for items eg. pear, tomato, burger etc. and I put them in the shopping basket and hand them over.  Tonight
she asked for poo poo, wee wee and snotties to be added to the shopping basket then threw her head back with a fit of giggles. Gets it from her dad. Oh dear?.
