Left hand, right hand

Granite city

LH used to go to the football every week. In recent years this has steadily declined until these days LH is one of the thousands abandoning regular attendance at Scottish football matches in their droves. Every couple of months, that itch returns and LH will tiptoe back to Pittodrie, taking care to avoid the disapproving glances of those friends that continue to travel to every match.

The build up is fun, the anticipation builds, and then theres the game where it all becomes clear why LH doesn't go anymore. Aberdeen were beaten by Caley in what was a toothless performance in front of a dwindling, quiet and uninspired crowd. Couldn't bear to post any of the pictures of the racks of empty seats at Pittodrie, so here's a nice on of the Marischal College in the city - the largest Granite building in the world.

The Council moved into the the building after the University vacated it and recently cleaned the whole facade. Would you believe a disagreement with the Church of Scotland about ownership and usage of the disused church, has meant that it is the only part of the complex left uncleaned. The contrast between the two is stark.

LH and RH went out at night with some friends for a few drinks. Not happy about the 'stolen' hour. Why not give us an extra 23?
