Beaches day...

We headed to the west coast today in search of the five star beach called Barriga as described on the Thomson website. The whole of the west coast is national park and is beautiful, we were expecting a bit of a dirt track and after travelling for several miles we did hit a beach which did not live up to our expectations. Maybe we've been spoiled. This is a view over Cardamo beach which we thought was far superior.

On the way back home we stopped off in Lagos which is a lovely port town that has a history of being central to the slave trade. A lovely beach here too.

Off then to D'Ana which we'd read had some beautiful rocks and we hoped to get a lovley sunset. It did have some spectacular rocks, but the sunset was not what we'd hoped as it set the wrong way. (Does that make sense? Probably not) We had a great day anyway though.
