Took Matt and Andy swimming today, while Mo took George to a birthday party - also at the pool. Afterwards, when we stood at the top of the bank to watch the waves breaking over the harbour wall, the wind nearly knocked us off our feet.
This was only halfway to high tide - the waves must've huuuuuge a few hours later.
With true British spirit, some people were enjoying the wild conditions. This bird, though, had other ideas - sheltering out of the wind in someone's front porch. I think it's a guillemot. Anyone know whether or not that's right?
