Bremen, Obernstraße

I had an appointment in the city centre today, so I tried to catch some early morning mood on my blip. The pic shows on of the main shopping streets, called Obernstraße, about an hour before the shops are opened. People are just arriving for work, and there are two trams, most likely the town's most important means of public transport. In the background there's the townhall, build from 1405- 1410. The towers concealed by the fog belong to Bremen Cathedral, St Peter's. The first verified church on this site was build in 798.

And then there's the morning mist. You have to be fond of morning mist to live in Bremen. Very fond indeed ;-)

It's midday now and the weather is lovely :-) Have a great time!
