Waiting

I took this photo while hiding behind a big tree and waiting for Cooper to return.

He was trying hard to find a deer for me.

I keep telling him that I have no need whatsoever for deer but he doesn't really get me, I am afraid...

Fortunately, he doesn't ever get any deer, either. He doesn't even come close, because they are all gone while he is still sniffing where they've been minutes - or hours - before.
