Taking a Break

I feel very grateful to have such a beautiful harbour and shoreline to walk to in my lunch break, it keeps me sane when I'm indoors all day at the shop. Grateful too that I just work three days a week, sometimes four.
The harbour was deserted today, not a heron to be seen, or any swans, so just some gulls on a limpet covered rock, surrounded by kelp, moving in the waves. It was great to eat lunch with the sun on my face and the sound of the sea.
How good it is to be home in the daylight, with time for a bimble in the garden!
