Rural Red Letter Box

The inspiration for this blip was threefold: one, I was waiting near Blackpool Sands for the roadworks traffic lights to turn green, and, two, I was thinking of all the lovely shots of Guernsey blue post boxes that Island Post has blipped. So often the lanes and locations of Guernsey are reminiscent of the lanes and locations of South Devon. So here's a red counterpart to the island's blue. (Oh, yes, three is - it's the only photo I've taken today!)

Mind you, if I'd had a camera with a big enough lens, and the knowhow to use it, I'd have photographed the cresent moon and Venus tonight: so clear and beautiful.
