Ardintoul

The walk from Totaig has few rivals. Stunning views, varied wildlife and challenging sections through deep bog or virgin forest. Now it also boasts a twist in the tail to keep us guessing. We discovered a new path giving a straight forward exit route from the forest and a route to a recently refurbished bridge across the Allt na Dalach. No excuse for a rest and a picnic beside the jetty for us then, just a steady push to the top of Glas Bheinn before the cross country last leg back to Larach Sithe. Luckily, beer and a competition winning fish pie awaited so recovery was complete.
